Our great-grandfather John Muir considered himself not so much to be a member of any particular society but like all other living things, a denizen of the whole earth. He described himself once as a "poetico-trampo-geologist-botantist and ornithologist-naturalist, etc., etc., etc." but we weren't sure if "The Poetico Tramps" sounded like a wine club or a bad garage band. Someone else described John Muir as a 'Citizen of the Universe', and it is in that spirit of expansive delight in the world around us that we dedicate our Wine Club to you...our company of friends.
